So, I (actually, come to think of it,Lizzy-Lu (it's so nice to have a daughter who loves to paint as much as I do) painted it black for me and we sanded it on the edges. I absolutely have fallen in love with it all over again! It's amazing how a little paint can give new life to the things we love.

makeover...

I love this table. I bought it new along with a couch a few years ago... since that time, the couch has been replaced and the table, well needed a facelift. Isn't it funny how things we loves so much once don't appeal to us as much as time goes on? Anyway....

It's raining, it's poring...

The Old man is snoring... I am in Mesa this weekend and it is pouring rain. I am loving it. It is one of my favorite things. I have never lived where it snows and am not sure I would like it. It snowed last year in Safford and it was fun for about five minutes, then comes the slushy, muddy, wet, sick kids. Fun? Not so much. I will take the rain anytime. I guess I appreciate it because it doesn't rain all of the time. I think if I lived in Oregon, I probably wouldn't appreciate it as much as it rains there often. Anyway, just a thought...

Merry Joseph Christmas...

The other day Lizzy-Lu asked, "Mom, how come they didn't put Joseph's name in Merry Christmas?" Of course my reply was, "What in the world are you talking about?" She explained, "Well, Mary's name and Christ's name are there, what about Joseph?"

So, Merry Joseph Christmas to all!

Dust Rabbits...

So, this morning the Love Bug was wiping the dust off of my TV (it must have got there last night because I swear I dust all day long). Anyway, he showed me the dust on his hands proudly and said, "Look at my dust rabbits mommy."

Gift ideas....

So, I came across these on another cute blog and thought they'd be fun for visiting teaching gifts, teacher gifts, or whatever gifts....

"We whisk you a merry Christmas."

"May your Christmas be merry and Sprite."

One down, fifty to go...

So, I guess most of you know that I have been going to school for fifty years or so.. Seriously when someone asks when I'll be finished, I say, "Well, I'm on the ten year plan." Um, I'm I've been on the ten year plan for fifteen years now.
Anyway, I finished another class last night. It was on my check off sheet toward my degree in Education. I am so glad, too bad it was one of the easier classes and not College Algebra, which is next. If you never hear from me again, you'll know why...

There aren't even words....
