So today in our Fifth Sunday lesson, a lady came (who also happened to be an accountant) to talked about getting out of debt. I felt like she was talking to me personally. She gave specific ideas and ways to do so. She said that paying off credit cards is like a snow ball effect. Pay off the small ones first and add as much to the the monthly payment as your budget will allow. After the first is paid off, send all of this money including the regular payment to the next card to pay it off and so on and so forth....
I have been talking about doing this for a while, but wasn't really sure where to start. She also said that we were put on this earth to build the kingdom of God and basically that if we are worried about debt, we can't worry about helping the Lord. This made a lot of sense to me. I am really excited about this endeavour. I am going to start by keeping a record of everything I buy in a weeks time. Also, I am going to go on a spending fast for the next week... by this I mean that I am not going to buy anything that is not a necessity. This will be hard, but I am going to give it shot.. Wish me luck!

Happy Thanksgiving!
So, yesterday was Thanksgiving. We stayed home and watched movies all day. It rained off and on all day. That was nice. I think we'll put the tree up today so that we can start getting ready for Christmas. I am really thankful for this time of year. It is so comforting to watch the leaves fall off the trees. I'm not sure why that is a comforting thing to me, it just is. Anyway, I am thankful for the day we had yesterday and the holiday season that follows. Happy Thanksgiving!

Anger Management...
This is very profound...
Laugh when you can, apologize when you should and let go of what you can't change.Forgive quickly, take chances, give everything and have no regrets.Life is too short to be anything but happy! Sometimes when you are angry with someone, it helps to sit down and think about the problem.

The Love Bug's Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
There is this place in Willcox called Apple Annie's Orchard. It is a tradition at school for the first grade to take a field trip each year before Halloween. I had the pleasure of being the mom who got to go with this year. It was so much fun to see the kids amazed by the rows and rows of pumpkins.
The deal is that the kids can pick any pumpkin they like to take home so long as they are able to carry it home. Lucky for the bug, I was there to help. Apple Annie's also has a corn maze which is done with the same design as the new Arizona state quarter. It was awesome! The kids get to go through the maze and then take a hayride to the pumpkin patch. They also have an apple farm across the way; however, the apples were ruined this year due to a lovely hail storm. Bummer! Anyway, we had a great time and got a great pumpkin.

Mark My Words...
So I voted yesterday. Isn't it funny how the proposition to define marriage passed, but look who was made president. I mean seriously? On the bright side of this whole thing. I think it will be great for Pres. Bush to stop getting blamed for all of the worlds problems. Oh yea, yesterday the media made the point of noting that the questions for the exit polls were whether people were more concerned about race or age concerning the running mates. It was very clear that age was more of an issue. Or so they said. Whatever! As soon as Obama won, it was all about how his race had overcome 50 million years of racism. What? I though he was Hawaiian.
